Dr. Jaclyn Chasse
Dr. Jaclyn Greenwood Chasse, N.D. is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and is the medical director at the Northeast Center for Holistic Medicine. She was born and raised in southern New Hampshire, and is thrilled to be one of the first to bring natural medicine here to New Hampshire. Dr. Chasse is a graduate of Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, the world’s leading university in the natural health sciences.
Dr. Chasse is trained in primary preventative care, and is an expert in the prevention and natural treatment of disease. She believes that each person is unique, and so each patient’s treatment is customized to meet their individual needs. Dr. Chasse has undergone extensive training in women’s health, pediatrics, and infertility, including studying natural treatments for infertility at a world-renowned Natural Fertility Clinic in Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Chasse has spoken to audiences across the United States about various health care topics. She believes that health education is a vital part of being a doctor, and enjoys sharing her knowledge with health care professionals and the public.
Dr. Chasse has also been very involved throughout her professional career in improving health care access and education. She currently serves as the president of the New Hampshire Association of Naturopathic Doctors and she has been an active member in the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians since 2003.
Dr. Lori DiBacco
Dr. Lori DiBacco is excited to join the Northeast Center for Holistic Medicine. She is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and a Massachusetts native who has been practicing in Winchester, MA for four years. She graduated with honors from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. While studying in Arizona, she focused her clinical training on women’s health and pediatrics. After graduation, she returned to Massachusetts and joined Winchester Natural Health Associates. Since returning east, Dr. DiBacco has also pursued specialty training in prenatal, natural childbirth, and post-natal care of women and infants in New Hampshire.
In her practice, Dr. DiBacco assists patients of all ages with their personal health goals. Her special interests include endocrine imbalances, skin conditions, digestive disturbances, fatigue, autoimmune diseases, detoxification, and environmental medicine. With all of her patients, Dr. DiBacco takes the time to truly understand their experience of illness. She offers a variety of investigative and therapeutic tools to develop comprehensive and individualized plans to restore patients’ health. Dr. DiBacco firmly believes in the simplicity of Naturopathic philosophy: to focus on the whole person, to identify and treat the cause of disease, and to work with the laws of nature to bring the most rapid and complete cure.
Dr. DiBacco enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge of Naturopathic Medicine with her community. She has co-created and teaches the Whole Health Detox, a four-week detoxification program. This nutrition and lifestyle program has helped many people discover a new relationship to food, health, and personal care. In her efforts to raise awareness and access to Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. DiBacco also participates in political efforts for Naturopathic Doctors at both the state and national level. She is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and is honored to serve as the President of the Massachusetts Society of Naturopathic Doctors (MSND).

Dr. Carrie Chojnowski, N.D., C.P.M.
Dr. Carrie Chojnowski, N.D., C.P.M. is thrilled to be joining the Northeast Center for Holistic Medicine. She is a New Hampshire licensed Naturopathic Doctor and a Certified Professional Midwife. Though Dr. Chojnowski was born and raised in the Massachusetts/ southern New Hampshire area, she traveled to the west coast to pursue her doctorate and graduated from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, the world’s leading university in natural health education, clinical care, and research.
Although trained as a primary care physician, Dr. Chojnowski’s specialty is in the treatment of women, adolescents, and children, as well as in lifestyle and nutritional counseling for the prevention and treatment of chronic illness. As a Naturopath, Dr. Chojnowski believes strongly in every individual’s inherent capacity to heal once the obstacles to health are removed. She adheres strongly to the principles of Naturopathic Medicine, which are as follows:

Prevention
Dr. Chojnowski’s studies have given her extensive training in preconception counseling, prenatal care, birth and delivery, pediatric evaluation and care, adolescent concerns, and women’s health. She has attended to laboring women and delivered babies in the United States as well as in the southwestern Pacific Ocean on the island of Efate in Vanuatu. In Vanuatu she also worked with a non-profit medical organization, giving educational talks about contraception, pediatric care, and women’s health.
Dr. Chojnowski is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), the New Hampshire Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NHAND), and the Midwives Association of North America (MANA).

Alyson Adams, MAOM, LAc
Alyson brings a fresh approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine, combining a Master of Science degree from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from Boston College.
Alyson is a board certified Diplomate of both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the NCCAOM and is licensed in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. While attending OCOM, the first school in the country to offer an accredited doctoral program in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, she was able to gain experience in a variety of health settings. Among them included interning at Oregon Health and Science University working alongside both an MD and LAc. This experience allowed her to see how eastern and western medicine can be integrated together to create wellness in her patients. She also has experiences working with seniors and chronic pain management.
Alyson has studied both Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture and treats a wide variety of complaints. She has a special interest in internal medicine, specifically digestive disorders, headaches, and women's health and infertility.
Being a native of New England, Alyson is happy to return to the Northeast and bring her knowledge and skills to this area. In addition to her interest in Chinese Medicine, Alyson is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hiking, skiing and Pilates.
Shauna Massahos
Shauna is a licensed massage therapist offering massage services at the Northeast Center for Holistic Medicine. In addition to traditional Swedish massage, Shauna also specializes in prenatal massage.
Massage is most commonly used as a form of pain relief, but can also be used to treat a variety of conditions as well to provide relaxation.
Diane Riley
Diane is a graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, the world’s premier institute of hands-on energy work and transformational approaches. She is a Reiki Master as well as a facilitator of Family Constellations, an experiential method that explores entanglements and loyalties held with in the family system.
Since 1995, Diane has devoted herself to exploring and studying ancient and modern healing modalities. By blending aspects of both viewpoints in her healing work, she has been privileged to assist many individuals so they may experience greater health, emotional well-being and a deeper spiritual connection.
Diane believes each person ultimately does his or her own healing. Health care practitioners simply assist someone in their healing process. She provides a unique approach that offers support, guidance and teaching so that individuals can access their “healer” within. Her assistantship calls upon cognitive and relational theory, intuitive knowing, kinesthetic awareness, guided imagery and hands-on energy work.
Diane is also very involved with the VNA Hospice of Manchester. She provides training for individuals interested in becoming Hospice volunteers, facilitates bereavement groups for adults and children, offers respite to Hospice patients and their families and trains healthcare staff about “compassionate care giving” for the dying.
Diane is a passionate seeker of all things which bring wholeness to one’s life. She enjoys yoga, hiking, walking and reading.
She looks forward to helping individuals experience a greater sense of balance in mind, body and spirit.
Lise Alschuler, ND, FABNO
Dr. Lise Alschuler is a naturopathic doctor with board certification in naturopathic oncology. She graduated from Brown University in 1988 with an undergraduate degree in Medical Anthropology. In 1994, she graduated from Bastyr University Naturopathic Medical school. Since graduating, Dr. Alschuler has taught botanical medicine, gastroenterology and clinical skills to naturopathic students. She was founding Chair of the Botanical Medicine program at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1995 - 1996. From 1996 to 1999, she was Chair of the Botanic and clinical associate professor of the training clinic for Bastyr University naturopathic, acupuncture, and nutrition students from 1999 to 2003. In 2003, she became the director of the naturopathic medicine department at Cancer Treatment Centers of America - Midwestern Regional Medical Center in greater Chicago, IL. In this position, she managed the provision of care and program development provided by the Department of Naturopathic Medicine at this 95-bed JCAHO accredited regional hospital specializing in the provision of integrated oncology care. Dr. Alschuler is currently the Vice President of Quality and Education at Emerson Ecologics, a professional supplement distribution company in Bedford, NH.
Dr. Alschuler has published numerous articles on herbal medicine and naturopathic medicine in the lay press as well as in the medical literature. She co-authored a comprehensive guide for the layperson and health professional alike: Definitive Guide to Cancer: An Integrative Approach to Prevention, Treatment and Healing (Random House, 2010). She has lectured extensively on these topics nationally as well as internationally. In September 2000, she was named by Seattle Magazine as one of Seattle’s Top Doctors. She is the immediate past President of the Board of Directors for the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, is on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology, and founding board member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
She believes that her job as a naturopathic physician and educator is to stimulate and support the innate healing processes within each individual by applying a scientifically based strategy that utilizes the most natural and least harmful approaches possible.
